School resource officers (SROs) officially began their work in Milford schools last week.
There is an officer at Foran High School and one at Jonathan Law High School.
Another SRO splits time between East Shore and Harborside middle schools and the fourth splits time between West Shore Middle School and the Academy.
There is also a substitute SRO.
Sergeant Antonio Vitti is supervisor of the SROs.
