Beginning in the fall, Pumpkin Delight Elementary will be adding a new preschool program to complement the offerings already housed at the school, school officials said.
The Pumpkin Delight Preschool Program is designed to give students an early acclimation to school life for four-year olds while still honoring the benefit of play and childhood. Led by a certified teacher, students will participate in learning activities through discovery and play.  Content areas will include language skills, social interactions, and problem solving. Literacy and math skills will be introduced through engaging and fun-filled activities.

The program will run five days a week and students may register for either the morning or the afternoon session. The morning session will operate from 8:50 – 11:50 a.m.; the afternoon session will run from 12:35 – 3:35 p.m.

The fees for this program have been set at $325/month. Financial assistance on a sliding scale may be available for those who qualify.
