Church holiday fairs galore this weekend in Milford

Christmas bazaar
Wildermere Beach Church Christmas Bazaar and Cookie Stroll will be held Saturday, Dec. 2, 10 a.m.-3 p.m., 133 Broadway. Tinsel Cafe with homemade soups, sandwiches, desserts. Cookie Stroll with 250 dozen cookies to choose from. Crafters and vendors, children's gift shop, music and entertainment. Exhibitor tables available for $10. Call 203-874-9289.
Cookie walk
The annual cookie walk at Mary Taylor Memorial United Methodist Church, 168 Broad St, Milford is Saturday, Dec. 2, 9:30 a.m. There also will be giant chocolate caramel covered apples, sugared walnuts, caramel popcorn drizzled with chocolate and more. All proceeds go to mission work.
Christmas fair
The United Church of Christ in Devon, 30 Ormond St., will present the 76th annual Christmas Fair on Saturday, Dec. 2, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Christmas crafts, Christmas items, handmade items, homemade baked goods, quality nearly new items, tea cup auction, lunch and a cookie walk. Holiday fair
The Annual Holiday/Christmas Craft Fair at the First United Church of Christ (Congregational), 34 West Main St., will be held Saturday, Dec. 2, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 3, from 9 a.m. to noon. The event, to be held in Fellowship Hall, will feature many one-of-a kind craft gifts, jewelry, and knitted items. Most of the items have been made by the the members of the church's Women's Fellowship.
St. Ann Christmas fair
St. Ann Parish will hold its annual Christmas Fair on Dec. 2, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at 501 Naugatuck Ave, featuring  50 crafters and vendors. St. Ann Choir will be strolling the halls and Santa will be  available for pictures. Bakery, raffle, tag sale and food court.
Breakfast with Santa
The Junior Woman's Club of Milford will hold Breakfast with Santa — $5/person, children under two are free — Sunday, Dec. 3, 9 a.m. to noon, in the cafeteria of the Total Mortgage building at 185 Plains Road. Fundraisers like this help the Junior Woman's Club support scholarships for high school seniors, host the citywide spelling bee, clothing drives, honor peer nominated Respect Ambassadors among Milford schools, and contribute and volunteer with many other organizations in need of assistance.
Holiday craft fair
The annual Holiday Craft Fair at the Milford Senior Center, 203-877-5131, will take place Thursday, Dec. 7, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Craft items are made by center members.
51st Christmas fair
Christ the Redeemer Church will hold its 51st Christmas fair on Saturday, Dec. 9, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the church, 325 Oronoque Rd. Hosted by the Knights of Columbus Council #15870. There will be candles, jewelry, knitted and crocheted items, pet food/treats, collectibles, cookie walk and bake sale. The Children's Choir will perform. There will also be a special guest arriving to greet the children. Raffles. A limited breakfast and lunch menu will be available.
Gospel chorus
The Milford Senior Center Gospel Chorus, under the direction of Debra Fellenbaum, will present a holiday gospel concert Sunday, Dec. 10, at 2 p.m. at the Milford Senior Center, 9 Jepson Drive. The Gospel Chorus’ annual concert, entitled The Light of the World, is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served. Call 203-877-5131 for information.
