Books sales will benefit Milford high schools

In an effort to raise funds for the media centers, the two Milford high schools are working with Barnes & Noble Booksellers by hosting a book fair at the Milford store.
On Sunday, May 31 from 1 to 4 p.m., Barnes & Noble will contribute a percentage of every sale made with special book fair vouchers to Foran and Jonathan Law. Vouchers will be available online at the schools' websites and in hard copy at their media centers.
People can also shop online at bn.com/bookfairs from May 31 to June 5 and include the book fair voucher ID for the school they are supporting on the payment page during checkout.
Foran and Jonathan Law High School students will read “The Invisible Boy” by Trudy Ludwig at 1 and 2 p.m. There will be activity sheets and face painting available. Teens are invited to participate in Date a Book, a book discussion program to showcase the unveiling of the summer reading titles. The winner of Barnes & Noble Milford's One City, One Story's essay contest about values will read their essay
