Anthony Richardson earns top honor at Notre Dame

Anthony Richardson of Milford earned the Code Award at Notre Dame of West Haven. The Code Award is one of the school’s two highest awards.
The Code Award is given to the senior whom the faculty deems best lives his life by the words stated in the Notre Dame Code.
Anthony, who will attend Merrimack College, was a member of various organizations at Notre Dame and in his community. The faculty uses the following words to describe him “humble, intelligent, hard-working, role model, sensitive, faith-filled and inspirational.”
His focused work ethic, strength to face any adversity or challenge, and ability to always remain positive has impressed everyone, school administrators said.
“His membership in the National and Tri-M Honor Societies attest to his intelligence,” school officials said. “His leadership has been evident in his role as a Peer Counselor and soon to be Eagle Scout. His commitment to service has been evident in his countless hours he has given to Notre Dame, the local community, and Relay for Life. It is truly his strong moral character, intelligence, work ethic, humility, and never giving up when facing a mental or physical challenge that have won him the respect of peers and faculty alike.”
