The late great Yogi Berra once philosophized how “A nickel ain’t worth a dime anymore.” And if he lived in Connecticut, he probably was right. That’s because today’s average gas prices in the state are up a nickel compared to last week. The previous week, those same prices rose by a dime.
Whatever the case, average prices here and on the National level continue to rise. Today (April 4) Connecticut gas prices average $2.15, up $.05 cents since last week and $.29 cents since last month. Compared to last year, however, average prices are down $.32 cents.
