Two men arrested after Percocet sale

Police arrested two men Sept. 24 on drug and weapon charges.

According to a police report, police received a complaint about suspicious activity at 17 Foran Road at 7 p.m. They investigated and found two men, John Budnovitch IV, 18, of Valley View Road, Milford, and Reynaldo Canales, 20, of Shanley Street, Stratford, whom police said were found in possession of Percocet prescription pills. Budnovitch allegedly sold some of the prescription pills to Canales. Canalas, who was found in possession of brass knuckles, reportedly told police he planned to sell the percocet. Budnovitch was found with an illegal knife, police said.

Budnovitch was charged with possession of narcotics, sale of narcotics, possession of drug paraphernalia and carrying a dangerous weapon. He was released on a promise to appear in court Oct. 21.

Canales was charged with possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, carrying a dangerous weapon. He was held in police custody on $1,000 bond.
