Police say man tried to eat heroin when drug deal interrupted

Three Milford residents were busted during what police said was a heroin transaction in Milford June 16.

The three are Jason Jacobs Jr., 26, of 33 Bird Lane; William Clements, 24, of 1052 Boston Post Road, and Stephanie Pallas, 19, of 174 Edgemont Road.

Police said that on June 16, the police narcotics unit interrupted a drug transaction in a parking lot on the Boston Post Road near exit 39 of I-95. While they were investigating, detectives reportedly learned that Jacobs had sold heroin to Clements in the parking lot just before the detectives arrived. Clements tried to eat the heroin in front of the detectives, but was unsuccessful, police said.

Additional heroin was recovered from Jacobs, they added.

The Milford Police Department’s trained narcotics detection K-9 "Cedar" sniffed for additional narcotics and alerted officers to the front pants area of Pallas, who was there with Jacobs.

“This alert indicated she had narcotics hidden down the front of her pants,” police said. “Two bags of heroin were recovered from inside her pants.”

Jacobs is charged with Possession of Heroin and Sale of Heroin.

Clements is charged with Possession of Heroin, Destruction of Evidence and Interfering with Officers.

Pallas is charged with Possession of Heroin and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

The three were released from police custody on their promise to appear in Milford Court on July 12.
