
The Milford Police Department is investigating a bank robbery at Webster Bank on Merwin Avenue Oct. 29, comparing the robbery to one that occurred just two weeks ago.
On Oct. 29, at about 2:17 p.m. a man entered the bank and demanded money from the bank teller, police said. The suspect fled out the rear door of the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.
The suspect is described as a white man, approximately 5’10”tall, with a medium build. He was wearing a navy blue hooded style sweatshirt with a white draw string, light colored cargo style pants, black sneakers, yellow latex gloves and an open faced dark colored knit mask. The man was carrying a yellow plastic bag.
Investigators are comparing similarities to a bank robbery that occurred at this location on Oct. 16.
