Milford police seize nearly seven pounds of marijuana in bust

Milford police arrested two local residents on May 30 and seized nearly seven pounds of marijuana after members of the narcotics and vice unit with the assistance of the U.S. Postal Inspector’s Office and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency intercepted a suspicious package being delivered in Milford.

Police say that Laura Plaskowitz, 26, and Eric Kahn, 33, both of Milford were the intended recipients of 4.8 pounds of high-grade marijuana with an approximate street value of $3000-$4000 per pound.

Police conducted a search of Khan’s residence which led to the seizure of two additional pounds of the same high-grade marijuana, packing materials, scales and currency.

Kahn is charged with possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, operation of a drug factory and related drug charges. Bond was set at $50,000 for court on June 24.

Plaskowitz is charged with possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to sell and related conspiracy charges. She was released on a promise to appear in court on June 24.
