Milford Police Reports: Sept. 25

Threatening

Milford police arrested Mark DiPietro, 44, of Milford on Sept. 15 after they received a threatening complaint at a Chapel Street residence.

Investigation led to the arrest of DiPietro, a building tenant, who threatened to harm a property representative.

DiPietro is charged with second-degree threatening.

He was released on a promise to appear in court on Oct. 14.

DUI

Milford police arrested Paul Fugiero Jr., 71, of Milford on Sept. 15 after they received a complaint regarding a motor vehicle that struck a parked vehicle on Deerwood Avenue.

Investigation led to the arrest of Fugiero, who police accuse of driving while under the influence of alcohol.

Fugiero refused to perform a Breathalyzer test during the investigation. He is charged with DUI, failure to drive right and no insurance.

Bond was set at $500 for court on Oct. 16.

Shoplifting

Milford police took custody of Antwaun Roach, 25, of Bridgeport on a warrant on Sept. 20 after they concluded an investigation into a June 19 complaint of a shoplifting that occurred at the Hollister store at the CT Post Mall.

Investigation led to an arrest warrant being issued for Roach, who is accused of taking 24 pairs of women’s shorts valued at $958 without paying for them.

Police say that a computer check revealed that Roach had six outstanding warrants for his arrest. Roach is accused of failing to appear in court for offenses he committed in Milford, West Haven, Waterford, Meriden and New Haven in 2014. The offenses included larceny, criminal trespass, possession of narcotics and drug paraphernalia.

Roach is charged with fifth-degree larceny, two counts of first-degree failure to appear and four counts of second-degree failure to appear in court. Roach was held on a $103,500 bond at the time of his arrest.
