DUI
Milford police arrested Jeremy Peterson, 34, of Milford for DUI on Nov. 23 after they received a complaint of a motor vehicle accident on Brewster Road.
Upon investigating, police determined that Peterson was driving while intoxicated when he struck a utility pole. Subsequent his arrest, an intoxilyzer test indicated he had elevated blood alcohol content.
Peterson is charged with driving while intoxicated.
Bond was $500 for court on Dec. 18.
DUI
Milford police arrested Aimee Riso, 46, of Milford for DUI on Nov. 24 after they received a complaint that a red Jeep Liberty was driving erratically on Welches Point Road and Gulf Street.
Upon checking the area police located and stopped the vehicle on Dock Road. During the stop, Riso was found to be driving while intoxicated. Subsequent her arrest an intoxilyzer test indicated she had an elevated blood alcohol content.
Riso is charged with driving while intoxicated and failure to drive right.
Bond was set at $500 for court on Dec. 18.
Burglary
Milford police arrested Laurie Edding, 50, of Milford and her son Christopher Warren, 31, of Milford for their involvement in a burglary that took place at a residence on Bridgeport Avenue.
Police say the victim came home and found that two safes inside the home had been removed and were missing. Police located the damaged safes and some of the contents at a neighbor’s residence, which resulted in the arrests of Edding and Warren for their alleged involvement in the thefts.
Police say that the Edding and Warren were acquainted with the victims.
Edding is charged with third-degree burglary, third-degree larceny and related conspiracy charges.
Warren is charged with third-degree burglary, third-degree larceny, third-degree criminal mischief and related conspiracy charges.
Both were held on $5,000 bonds at the time of their arrests on Nov. 27.
Robbery
Milford police issued an arrest warrant and took custody of Edward Madden, 42, of Hamden on Nov. 28 after they concluded an investigation of a July 19 complaint regarding a shoplifting that occurred at Marshalls department store. Police say Madden left the store without paying for three pocketbooks valued at $750.
When police arrived at the scene, Madden allegedly refused to comply with officers in the parking lot and nearly struck a pedestrian and a police k9 while fleeing in a vehicle at a high rate of speed. Police later identified Madden as a suspect, which resulted in a warrant being issued for his arrest.
Madden is charged with third-degree robbery, fifth-degree larceny, interfering with police, first-degree reckless endangerment, reckless driving and disobeying an officer’s signal.
Bond was set at $5,000 for court on Dec. 23.
Assault
Milford police issued an arrest warrant for Thomas Chase, 28, of West Haven on Nov. 28 after concluding an investigation into a Nov. 22 complaint of a disturbance at an Ellis Street residence.
Investigation led to an arrest warrant being issued for Chase who police accuse of assaulting a companion who was pregnant at the time of the assault.
Chase is charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.
Bond was set at $50,000 for court on Dec. 23.
Failure to appear
Milford police took custody of Christopher Baldyga, 26, of Milford on Nov. 28 regarding an outstanding warrant for his arrest.
Baldyga is accused of failing to appear in court on Nov. 21 for motor vehicle offenses he is accused of committing in Milford on Nov. 29.
Baldyga is charged with second-degree failure to appear in court. Bond was $1,500 for court on Dec. 23.
Trespassing
Milford police arrested Antonio Frosolone, 23, of West Haven on Nov. 29 after they received a complaint regarding an activated burglar alarm at a Bridgeport Avenue business.
Officers arrived on scene and found Frosolone trespassing on the property.
Frosolone is charged with third-degree criminal trespass.
Bond was set at $500 for court on Dec. 23.
