A New Haven man who reportedly stole $326 worth of perfume from Macy’s Thursday evening and then struggled with police is in custody.
Police said Marcus Moore, 29, of New Haven was at Macy’s at about 9:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 18, when he took perfume and left the story without paying for it. A police officer apprehended Moore on the Boston Post Road after chasing him on foot, according to a report.
Moore reportedly resisted arrest and struggled with the officer.
Moore was charged with larceny, interfering with police and reckless endangerment. He was held in custody on $10,000 bond.
