A Milford man was charged with assault after a fight at a Walnut Beach pizza parlor over the weekend.
Police said that Kenneth Muzzy Jr., 51, was at Alfa Pizza Restaurant at 2:25 a.m. on Sunday when he got into an argument with another patron and struck him, damaging the person’s cell phone. Muzzy had previously been told to stay out of the restaurant, police said.
Muzzy was charged with assault in the third degree, breach of peace, criminal mischief and trespassing.
He was released on a promise to appear in court Jan. 20.
