Milford police are looking for an armed robber they said robbed two men in downtown Milford today.

Police said the robbery took place Wednesday, Aug. 10, at about 11:20 a.m. A black man, about 5’7, with a thin build and wearing a white t-shirt, gray shorts and white sneakers, approached two men in the rear parking lot of 190 Broad Street, which is People’s United Bank, and demanded the men give him all their money.

The suspect showed the men a pistol concealed in his pocket. After the suspect received the money, he fled the scene on foot, police said.

Surveillance footage shows the man possibly getting into an older model green four-door sedan in front of the bank. The suspect is believed to have seen one of the male victims make a bank transaction and waited for him in the parking lot.
