Police respond to graffiti incident at East Shore
Police are monitoring a graffiti situation at East Shore Middle School. Below is an email sent to parents by principal Catherine Williams explaining the situation:
On Wednesday May 15th, a derogatory comment against the school was found on the bathroom wall. There was no threat or mention of a weapon of any kind. Police were called because a date 5/20/13 was part of the writing. Because of the date police were called.
Once again, there was no threat made.
As a result of the rumor and to ease children’s minds, the police have been requested to be at the school tomorrow.
