Police release photo of man who robbed Webster Bank last week

The Milford Police Department is investigating a bank robbery that occurred last Thursday, Oct. 16, at the Webster Bank at 314 Merwin Avenue in Milford.

Police say they received a complaint of a male suspect entering the bank at approximately 3:30 p.m. and telling employees he was robbing the bank. The man demanded the bank teller put money in a white plastic shopping bag,  and then he fled out the rear door of the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.

Police describe the suspect as a white man, approximately 5’10” tall, with a stocky build. He was wearing a navy blue hooded style sweatshirt, dark colored cargo style pants, blue latex gloves and an open faced dark colored knit mask.
