Police look to ID men who stole ATM from Mobil Mart

Police have photos of a July 9 theft of an ATM machine from Mobil Mart at 300 Bridgeport Avenue, and they are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect or the vehicle in the photos.

According to a police report, on July 9 at about midnight, Milford police responded to a burglar alarm at Mobil Mart, 300 Bridgeport Avenue. Upon arrival, officers found that the glass on the front door was broken. When reviewing the surveillance cameras police found images of an older model Audi sedan pulling into the Mobil Mart, and then the front seat passenger exiting the vehicle dressed in all black and wearing a black ski mask and gloves. Video showed he has curly black hair hanging out from the back of the ski mask.

Police said the man used a large yellow crowbar to gain entry to the business and steal the ATM machine. The man put the ATM machine in the back seat of the vehicle. The driver stayed in the vehicle and is believed to be a white or hispanic man.
