Police investigating Subway armed robbery

Milford Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a Milford Subway shop on Monday, July 8.

Police are saying that a male wearing a ski mask entered the store located at 609 Bridgeport Avenue at approximately 9:18 p.m. and brandished a handgun.

The suspect then went behind the counter, took an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register and fled the store.

Investigators believe the suspect may have left the scene in a newer style gray Honda type vehicle.

Police are describing the suspect as a white or Hispanic male, heavy set and approximately 5’10” tall. He was wearing a black T-shirt with an image of a skeleton and a heart on the lower left portion of the shirt, light colored cargo shorts, black sneakers and a watch on his left wrist.
