Police arrested a Milford woman June 21 after she reportedly entered and went through items in her neighbor’s car.

Milford police responded to a Hubbell Place residence June 21 at about 5:40 a.m. on the report of a vehicle that had just been gone through. Officers arrived and spoke with the complainant, who reportedly saw a neighbor, Jacquelyn Novak, 20, of 6 Vernon Court, looking through items in the vehicle. The neighbor said that when approached, Novak ran into the residence she is staying at.

Further investigation showed Novak to have an active warrant for her arrest, police said. She is charged with violating her court set probation, as well as burglary and larceny. She was held in police custody on $26,000 bond until a court appearance later in the day.
