Missing teen from Milford found safe

Update: Anthony was found safe in Maine on Friday.

A silver alert has been issued for Anthony DeBenedet, 17, a Jonathan Law High School student who has been missing since Wednesday.

Anthony is a white male about 5’9, 135 lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a red Utah brand sweatshirt, maroon sweatpants and black sneakers around 7 p.m. on Nov. 8.

Anthony told his mother he was going to Branford to see his father and left Milford driving a 2006 Gray Ford Taurus. Anthony’s father in Branford said that he discovered Anthony’s backpack and cell phone at his residence at about 9 p.m., but never saw Anthony. Anthony has not returned to either his father’s residence in Branford or his mother’s in Milford, police said.

Anthony recently started taking anti-depressant medication and his parents are concerned for his welfare.
