Milford pair nabbed in drug raid
Milford police apprehended two Milford residents on drug charges after executing a search warrant at their Bridgeport Avenue residence on Thursday, Feb. 21.
Police say that detectives developed information regarding drug sales at the residence and had issued two arrest warrants for Christopher Strain, 44 of Milford who resided there.
Police K-9 Cedar assisted detectives in locating half a pound of marijuana, narcotic medication pills, drug packaging and materials and $2,793 in suspected drug proceeds.
Upon executing the warrants on Thursday, police found Strain and Michelle Brown, 44 of Milford in the residence.
Police charged Strain and Brown with possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia, operating a drug factory, possession of marijuana within 1,500 feet of a school, possession of marijuana with intent to sell and numerous other narcotics and conspiracy charges.
Strain was held on a $200,000 bond and Brown was held on a $100,000 bond. Both were scheduled to appear at Milford Superior Court on Friday, Feb. 22.
