Milford man arrested for wielding hammer and threatening
Milford police arrested Mark Blum, 35 of Milford early on Monday morning after they received a complaint of a male who threatened a victim in the parking lot of 1391 New Haven Avenue.
Police say that Blum approached the victim and asked for a ride. After the victim refused, Blum allegedly began striking a sign with a hammer and screaming. Blum then approached the victim with the hammer and threatened to harm the victim with it.
Police are charging Blum with second-degree threatening, second-degree breach of peace and second-degree attempted assault.
Bond for Blum was set at $10,000.
