Milford police arrested Gary Wilcock, 54, of MIlford on Tuesday, July 28 after they responded to a report of a domestic violence incident on Edgefield Avenue.
Police say Wilcock threatened a female with a hammer during the incident. Shortly after concluding their initial investigation, officers located Wilcock at a Devon establishment where he was taken into custody without incident.
Further investigation by the officers led to the discovery of two knives and a handgun in Wilcock’s truck. Police say Wilcock is a convicted felon who is not permitted to carry a firearm.
Wilcock is charged with second-degree threatening, breach of peace, three counts of weapon in a vehicle and carrying a pistol without a permit.
He is being held on a $100,000 bond.
