A Milford man who reportedly made 40 phone calls to a woman he wasn’t supposed to have contact with was arrested June 2 and charged with violating a protective order.

On May 26, Milford police received a complaint about the violation, and discovered that  between April 12 and 23, 2016, Marc-Anthony Anderson, 22, of 42 Holbrook Street, Milford, made 40 phone calls to a woman who held a protective order against him.

“This was a direct violation of a court issued order of protection in place protecting the female from any contact with Anderson,” police said.

Milford detectives located Anderson June 2 and placed him under arrest. Anderson is charged with 40 counts of violation of a protective order.

Anderson was unable to post $50,000 bond and was arraigned in Milford Superior Court on June 3.
