Milford Police Report: Nov. 20
Fairfield police arrested Daniel Dzwonkowski, 24, of Milford on Nov. 9 for his connection with an incident on the Post Road in Fairfield on Sept. 17. On that date, police said, an officer saw a woman thrown from Dzwonkowski’s car and came to her aid when she screamed for help. According to the report, Dzwonkowski and the woman, his girlfriend at the time, were arguing when he threw her out of the car and drove off.
Stratford police found Dzwonkowski and turned him over to Fairfield police, who charged him with breach of peace and assault. Dzwonkowski was released on $10,000 with a court date of Nov. 10.
Milford police arrested Tracy Lyman, 44, of Milford on Nov. 11 after they concluded an investigation into a burglary complaint at a Utica Street residence.
Police accuse Lyman of damaging a door while unlawfully entering the home of an acquaintance. Police say Lyman threatened to harm the occupants of the home and then damaged a window on a vehicle on the property before leaving the area.
Lyman is charged with third-degree burglary, second-degree threatening, third-degree criminal mischief, and second-degree breach of peace.
She was released on a promise to appear in court on Dec. 9.
Milford police arrested James Laperle, 45, of Blackstone, Mass., on Nov. 12 after an officer stopped his vehicle for not signaling properly on the Boston Post Road.
During the stop, police found Laperle in possession of 3.5 grams of crystal methamphetamine and related drug paraphernalia.
He is charged with possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Laperle was held on $10,000 at the time of his arrest.
Milford police arrested Cristobal Manso, 47, of New Haven after an officer observed a vehicle swerving while traveling on the Boston Post Road on Nov. 16.
During a stop of the vehicle, police found that Manso was operating while under the influence. Police say they also found Manso in possession of crack cocaine. Subsequent his arrest, a Breathalyzer test revealed that Manso had an elevated blood alcohol level.
Manso is charged with driving under the influence, possession of narcotics, failure to drive right, and failure to drive in a proper lane. Bond was set at $500 for court on Dec. 9.
Failure to appear
Milford police issued an arrest warrant and took custody of Marvelline Ruiz, 26, of Brooklyn, N.Y., on Nov. 17. Police accuse Ruiz of failing to appear in court on Aug. 26 for charges stemming from an arrest on March 13 for an alleged forgery offense she committed in Milford. Ruiz had also failed to appear in court previously regarding the same arrest.
Ruiz is charged with first-degree failure to appear in court.
She was held on a $25,000 bond at the time of her arrest.
