Assault

Milford police arrested Matthew Lebiedz, 37, of Milford on Nov. 1 after they received a complaint regarding a disturbance at a Point Beach Drive residence.

Police accuse Lebiedz of assaulting his companion and her relative inside the house. Police say that during his arrest, Lebiedz refused to cooperate with the officers and physically resisted their efforts.

Lebiedz is charged with disorderly conduct, third-degree assault, second-degree criminal mischief, second-degree unlawful restraint, and interfering with police.

Bond was set at $5,000 for court on Nov. 3.

DUI

Milford police arrested Joseph Skehan, 27, of Milford for DUI on Nov. 1 after an officer observed a vehicle on Gulf Street not traveling in the proper lane and passing a vehicle improperly.

During a stop of the vehicle, police found that Skehan was operating while under the influence of alcohol.

Subsequent to his arrest, a Breathalyzer test revealed that Skehan had an elevated blood alcohol level.

Skehan is charged with DUI, failure to drive right and improper passing.

Bond was set at $500 for court on Nov. 26.

Drug offense

Milford police arrested Dennis Paredes, 31, of Naugatuck on drug charges on Nov. 2 after an officer stopped his vehicle for a traffic violation. During a stop of the vehicle, police found Paredes in possession of marijuana and ecstasy.

He is charged with possession of marijuana, possession of a hallucinogenic and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was released on a promise to appear in court on Nov. 25.

Fugitive from justice

Milford police, responding to a medical emergency complaint at a Rowe Avenue address on Nov. 6, arrested Gary Perry, 34, of Kentucky.

During the investigation, police found that Perry had an outstanding warrant for his arrest from the Kentucky Board of Parole, accusing him of violating his parole conditions.

Perry was held on a $250,000 bond.

Drug offense

Milford police arrested Tyler Gionet, 22, of Milford on drug charges after an officer stopped his vehicle on the Boston Post Road for an equipment violation. During the stop, police found Gionet in possession of marijuana, hashish and cocaine.

Gionet is charged with possession of narcotics and possession of a controlled substance.

He was released on a promise to appear in court on Dec. 2.

Larceny

Milford police took custody of Daniel Marcucio on Nov. 7 after they concluded an investigation into a Sept. 11 complaint regarding an employee theft at the Tilted Kit restaurant.

Police accuse Marcucio of conducting several unauthorized business transactions from June to September of 2014, totaling $2,012.75. Investigation led to an arrest warrant being issued for Marcucio, who is a former employee of the Tilted Kit.

Marcucio is charged with third-degree larceny and was released on a promise to appear in court on Dec. 2.

Robbery

Milford police took custody of Miguel Cuatepotzo, 29, of West Haven on Nov. 9 after they concluded an investigation into a June 20 complaint regarding an assault/robbery that occurred in the parking lot of the Connecticut Post mall.

Investigation led to an arrest warrant being issued for Cuatepotzo, who is accused of assaulting an acquaintance and forcefully taking her purse while her child was present.

The second warrant accuses Cuatepotzo of failing to appear in court for motor vehicle violations he is accused of committing in Derby on Aug. 4, 2011.

Cuatepotzo is charged with third-degree robbery, third-degree larceny, third-degree assault, second-degree criminal mischief, second-degree breach of peace, third-degree attempted larceny, and risk of injury.

Bond was set at $11,000 for court on Nov. 20 and Dec. 2.
