Law lacrosse team shows support for local police

The Jonathan Law High School Girls Lacrosse team showed their support of law enforcement and the Milford Police Department last week.

On Monday, July 18, members of the team visited the Milford Police Department and provided lunch and snacks for all to enjoy.

The police thanked the team for their support.

Also, Milford officials posted a message on the city’s Facebook page last week in support of local police officers.

The message says, “In support of our law enforcement officers who protect and keep our communities safe, and in memory of those lost in the recent tragedies in Dallas, Baton Rouge, and Kansas City, the lights atop Milford City Hall have turned BLUE.”

Local police spotted the message and thanked officials for their support through a letter to the local press. Milford police wrote, “[The] Milford Police Department would like to thank our City officials for their support of Law Enforcement in Milford and around the country by lighting Milford City Hall Blue.”
