Bridgeport Police Department investigates non-fatal shooting
The Bridgeport Police Department responded to a non-fatal shooting incident on Oct. 13, in which two people were wounded.
At approximately 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 13, police officers responded to a call regarding an alleged shooting incident near the corner of Mildner Drive and Union Avenue.
Upon arrival at the scene, police were made aware that two people had been shot, and the victims already were transported to Bridgeport Hospital in a private vehicle.
After contacting the hospital, police were made aware that the first victim — an 18 year-old white male from Milford — suffered a gunshot wound to the right shoulder and one to the chest. He is in stable condition at Bridgeport Hospital.
The second victim — a 17 year-old black male from Stratford — suffered a gunshot wound to the right hand. He is in stable condition at Bridgeport Hospital.
