Milford police are looking for an armed robber who robbed Mobile on the Run Saturday night of an unspecified amount of money.

Police said the armed robbery took place April 30 at about 10:30 p.m. A man entered the Mobile on the Run gas station, located at 1354 Boston Post Road, Milford, and selected several small items in the store before proceeding to the cash register, where he removed a black handgun from his waistband.

The man demanded money from the clerk, who complied, police said.

The man was seen fleeing the store through the west side door and running west across the parking lot towards the rear of Dunkin Donuts.

“It is likely the suspect had a vehicle waiting in an adjacent lot,” police said.

The suspect is described as a black man, approximately 5’8, thin build wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt with orange graphics, black pants and white sneakers.
