Tuesday, Oct. 15 — 9 beginners line dancing; 9:30 slimmercize; 10 ceramics, Gospel Choir; 10:45 osteoporosis exercise; 11:30 Morning Glorys sing-a-long; 1 Club C/bingo, book club meets last Tuesday of the month; 1:30 tap dancing; 2 Men’s Club first Tuesday of the month, Women’s Club meets third Tuesday of the month, quilting group; 3:30 billiard instruction; 4:15 yoga.

Sunday, Oct. 20 — Center is open noon-4 for cards and bingo. Pool room is open Monday-Friday, 9-4:30 and Sunday, noon-4.

Medicare speakers — A Banker’s Life Representative will be on hand to discuss Medicare Friday, Oct. 11, 1:15 p.m. A speaker from Aetna will discuss Medicare Wednesday, Oct. 16, 1:15. Mark Zukerman from Humana, Monday, Oct. 21, 1:15. A United Health Care representative will discuss Medicare Wednesday, Oct. 23, 1:15.

Golf tournament fundraiser — The Senior Wish Society of Milford will host its 4th annual Mini Golf Tournament Thursday, Oct. 10, with a rain date of Oct. 17, from 5-8 p.m., at The Sports Center of CT., The Rinks, 784 River Road, Shelton.

Funds raised during last year’s tournament allowed the Society to assist senior citizens in the Milford communities who have struggled financially during the last year.

The Society is looking for its traditional sponsors, Hole and Team, as well as donations such as beer, wine, food, soft drinks, gift certificates, gift baskets and raffle items, 203-734-5449.

Drug take back program — Bring expired and unused to the Center on Tuesday, Oct. 22, 11-1 and Saturday, Oct. 26, 10-2. There will be a Milford Police Officer to offer assistance.

Living well — There will be an informational session presented by a representative of Agency on Aging who will speak on the Living Well-Chronic Self-Management Program Friday, Oct. 25, 1:15 p.m.

Halloween dinner dance — Wednesday, Oct. 30, 1-3:30. Tickets are $15. Vinnie Carr will provide the music and a pork roast dinner will be served by Lasse’s Restaurant. There will be a costume parade, but costumes are optional.
