Police Department’s records division saluted for top service

Susan Phillips, Kelly Walsh, Karen Giudice and Mary Jane Robbins have been named employees of the month in Milford for November. They work in the records division of the Milford Police Department.

After a review of all of the nominations the selection committee unanimously selected this team from the police department as the winners for their strong teamwork and outstanding customer service.

A significant portion of the records department’s daily responsibilities is interacting with the public. Recognizing the impact of a first impression, the records team’s customer service is exemplary, city officials said.

“Each customer is treated with courtesy and politeness, no matter how challenging the situation, and with equal importance and respect,” states a city press release. “Susan, Kelly, Karen and Mary Jane are the epitome of what a team truly is.”

Most notably, when a new employee joined the records division, together they present a united front. Although they all carry very heavy workloads, they each took time to help train the new member of the team and shared their wealth of knowledge with her, city officials said.

“Their outstanding work ethic, patience and competency are evident with each task they perform,” according to co-workers in the police department. “Each day they put forth positive attitudes, making the work environment exceptional.”
