Patriot Bank, N.A. (www.BankPatriot.com) is accepting toy donations at all 10 of its branches across Fairfield, New Haven and Westchester Counties to support the Westport-based nonprofit Al\u2019s Angels. Patriot Bank is additionally donating 100 new toys, one on behalf of each of its employees. Al\u2019s Angels provides holiday meals and gifts every year, as well as lifesaving medical treatment, to more than 9,000 children and families challenged by cancer, rare blood diseases, AIDS and domestic violence. The non-profit organization was founded in 2004 by Westport resident Al DiGuido, CEO and founder of marketing firm Zeta Interactive, who served as a board member of numerous charities for many years. Through his work he learned about the very high number of children and families struggling with financial difficulties in the wake of affording treatments for cancers, rare blood diseases and other illnesses.
