William J. Federer, author and historian, will present a three-part series, “One Nation Under God?...with liberty and justice for all,” on Saturday, July 27 and Sunday, July 28, at Milford City Hall.

Federer will discuss the following: National Miracles from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Saturday, July 27; The Constitution, from 8-9 p.m. Saturday, July 27; Three Secular Reasons to be a Christian Nation, at 10:45 a.m. Sunday, July 28.

Saturday’s two presentations will include a 30-minute dessert intermission at 6:30 p.m. and a book signing and “meet the author” at 9 p.m.

The free two-day event is sponsored by Milford Christian Academy and RealMilford.com, which promotes the people, events, businesses, churches, synagogues and other organizations that reflect the foundational values of religion, morality and honest work ethic of Milford and America.

“Recent headlines clearly show the personal freedoms we’ve enjoyed in America since George Washington was inaugurated our first president in 1789 are threatened,” said James Loomer, Milford Christian School principal, founding member of realmilford and pastor of Milford Christian Church. “This series will help us better understand what’s at stake and how Americans can and should respond.”

A former U.S. Congressional Candidate, Federer appears frequently on radio and television, including MSNBC, CSPAN, NPR and Fox News. He is also a frequent speaker at universities, colleges and U.S. military bases.

His book, America's God and Country Encyclopedia of Quotations has sold over 500,000 copies, and his “American Minute” radio feature, recalling events of American significance on the date they occurred, is broadcast daily and available on the Internet.
