Saturday in Woodmont started with a 5K run, a parade and more — all part of the annual Woodmont Day.
The event is organized each year by the Woodmont Civic and Recreation Association, whose goal is to promote a sense of community within the Borough of Woodmont and to help to make the borough a better place to live.
Beach life is the focus of the annual Woodmont Day, which features food, music and other entertainment at the Woodmont shoreline.
The community parade that helps start the event is a favorite among residents. This year’s theme was Pirates, Princes and Princesses.
Woodmont Day includes a bonfire on the beach in the evening, and live music, which wraps up at 11 p.m.
