Milford Kiwanis Club donates $5,000 to YMCA
The Milford Kiwanis Club donated $5,000 to the Woodruff Family YMCA earlier this month.
“The Kiwanis Club is happy to support the Woodruff Family YMCA,” said Bill Richards, president of The Kiwanis Club. “The Woodruff Family YMCA is a community focal point continually offering wonderful services to community members, nurturing the potential of every youth, teen and family in our town.”
The Kiwanis Club of Milford runs a variety of fund raising programs, including an Easter flower sale, Kiwanis Golf Tournament, and poinsettia sale.
Milford Kiwanis is a group of approximately 50 men and women who are dedicated to making the world and the Milford community a better place for children and young adults to live.
For more information, attend a weekly Milford Kiwanis Club meeting. The club meets every Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in the downstairs banquet room at Gusto's Restaurant, 255 Boston Post Road in Milford.
Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world, one child and one community at a time.
