Join the Northeast Paranormal Investigations Society (NPIS) and Spirits of Milford Ghost Walks for a ghost hunt and paranormal investigation of three of Milford's oldest houses.
The event will take place from 9 p.m. to midnight Saturday, June 20, at the Milford Historical Society complex, 34 High Street.
Participants will be guided through the Society's Eells-Stow, Clark-Stockade and Bryan-Downs houses and in each become amateur paranormal investigators for the evening. Using professional tools and protocols to attempt to document, and make contact, with any spirits present, event-goers will get hands-on experiencing using: EVP and EMF detectors; dowsing rods; digital and infrared still and video cameras; psychic tools like pendulums and scrying.
Event-goers will also be led through exercises designed to enhance their own psychic abilities. Those who desire will also leave with a free pendulum and an abridged version of the “Scarily Easy Guide to Ghost Hunting,” co-authored by NPIS and Spirits of Milford and slated for publication this summer.
Previous NPIS investigations of the have resulted in voice, photographic and other evidence of spiritual energy and entities.
