The Milford Elks will hold a Peace and Love Block Dance Friday, July 1, and the event is timed to coincide with the City of Milford’s fireworks display.
The event is family-friendly and open to the public. There will be live music by the Vybrations and the Elwoods, two local bands.

Admission is free. Milford Elks will be selling hamburgers, hot dogs and lobster rolls.

There will be fenced-in areas, indoor restrooms, and for children, an indoor coloring station, sidewalk chalk, beach balls, bubbles, glow sticks and more.

For adults there will be a beer and wine tent, with open access to the Elks downstairs lounge, where drinks can be purchased.

The downtown fireworks are scheduled to go off at 9:15 p.m. as part of the city’s Kick Off to Summer celebration.

The Elks event is rain or shine. In the event of rain, entertainment will be inside the main hall.  Gates open at 4 p.m.

The Milford Elks Lodge is located across from Fowler Field, at 124 New Haven Avenue — next to Duck Pond Daycare. For more information contact ellaeliz@gmail.com or call 203-545-4021.
