St. Mary Guild — St. Mary Guild of Milford will hold its annual pot luck supper on Sept. 16. The Rev. Aidan Donahue, Pastor of St. Mary Church, will celebrate Mass at 6:30 p.m. The pot luck supper will follow the Mass in Father Cronin Hall.

Suzanne Beleveau will introduce the scholarship and grant winners for 2014.

All women of the Parish are welcome to attend.

Fly Fishermen — The monthly meeting of the Housatonic Fly Fishermen’s Association will be held on Thursday, Sept. 4 at 7 p.m. at the St Paul’s Episcopal Church, 65 North Main Street, Wallingford.

The monthly speaker is Mike Humphreys, Fisheries Biologist from CT DEEP whose responsibilities over the last several years have centered on fisheries projects involving the Housatonic River.

The meeting is free and open to the public. Membership applications will be available for those that want to join the HFFA. Refreshments will be served.

 Masons — Ansantawae Masonic Lodge #89 A.F. &. A.M. of Milford will hold a meeting on Friday Sept. 5, at 7:45 p.m. in the Masonic Lodge Hall, 59 Broad Street in Milford under the direction of Worshipful Master John W. Hanson. It will be Annual Roll Call Night, where each member is recognized. There will be a steak dinner served at 6:30 p.m. in the banquet hall for ladies and members. Make reservations with the Junior Warden.

Garden Club program — Sept. 9 Milford Garden Club will present a program called “Ikebana - The Art of Flowers.”  Patricia McNelis of the Ichiyo School of Ikebana  will demonstrate the ancient floral art of Japan  with emphasis on the history, theory and simplicity of form. Eastern Star — Lucia Chapter #25 Order of the Eastern Star will hold a meeting on Thursday, Sept. 11 at 7:30 p.m. in the Masonic Lodge Hall 59 Broad Street, under the direction of  Worthy Matron Wendy Dubois Batterton.

A special program will be presented about Robert Morris. Visiting Eastern Star members are welcome.

Refreshments will be served in the banquet hall after the meeting.

Retired Women — The Retired  Women's Club of Milford will hold a general meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 16, at the   Milford Senior Center. There will be a speaker. Refreshments  will be served. New members are welcome.

Royal Arch Masons — Milford Chapter #49 Royal Arch Masons will hold a meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 9, at 7:30 p.m. in the Masonic Lodge Hall, 59 Broad Street.

Dinner will be served in the banquet hall at 6:30 p.m. for those members who make reservations with the secretary.
