Masons — Ansantawae Masonic Lodge will hold its Annual Scout Night Recognition meeting on Friday, May 3, at 8:30 p.m. in the Milford Masonic Lodge Hall, 59 Broad Street.

All Scouts, Venturers and leaders are invited to attend to be recognized by the lodge for service to their local communities. Each unit will present a short verbal presentation to be given by the Senior Patrol Leader, Crew President or Boatswain, about their Troop, Crew or Ship’s program and any community service projects they’ve engaged in over the course of the year.

Arch Masons — Milford Chapter #49 Royal Arch Masons will hold a meeting on Tuesday, May 14, at 7:30 p.m. in the Masonic Lodge Hall, 59 Broad Street under the direction of the High Priest Scott T. Eastern Star — LuciaChapter #25 Order of the Eastern Star will meet on Thursday May, 9 at 7:30 p.m., in the Masonic Lodge Hall 59 Broad Street, under the direction of the Worthy Matron Deborah Zaleha.

At this meeting a special program will be presented by the Rainbow Assembly #4 International Order of Rainbow for Girls. Friends are invited to attend. Saint Mary Guild — The Saint Mary Guild of Milford will meet on Tuesday, May 14 at 7 p.m. in the church auditorium. The program “A Salute to Downtown Milford” will feature boutiques Given to Gauche, Collected Stories Bookstore, Canvas Patch, and Cloud 9 Day SPA. The owners will showcase their wares, bring samples of merchandise for purchase, as well as shop coupons.

All women of the parish and guests are invited.

The Nominating Committee Chairperson Darlene Lessard will present the new slate of officers to be voted on during the meeting.

Retired women — Women Redefining Retirement will meet on Monday, May 13 at 7 p.m. at Golden Hill Health Care Center. Connie Pino, certified laughter yoga instructor, will teach the health benefits of laughing for no reason.

The Action Project this month is collecting DVDs, CDs and VHS tapes to swap and donate to the Milford Senior Center.
