Adult ed offers dance, languages, travel and more
Milford Adult Education’s fall course registration is happening now, by mail or in person at the office at 70 West River Street in the Parsons Complex in Milford.
Choose from arts and crafts, food and cooking, wines, language and automobile maintenance. There are fitness classes and classes on healthier eating and healthier living.
Veterans can take the Interview Skills class free of charge.
There are classes on woodcarving, drawing, painting, quilting, knitting, pottery, jewelry making and more. There is dance, basic computers as well as eBay, iPad basics, Quickbooks and Excel, or choose from a range of business and finance classes.
There are extras, too, like Fall Day Trips — Long Island Wine Tour, Sept. 12; Brooklyn Food & South St. Seaport Tour, Oct. 10; A Day in Salem and Ghost Tour, Oct. 24; Lobster Bake and Kittery Outlets, Nov. 7; Radio City Christmas Spectacular, Dec. 5.
The program offers GED, ESL, and citizenship classes too. Registration for those is at Foran High School, room 305, 6 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays on the following dates: GED, Sept. 2, 9, 16, 21; ESL, Sept. 15, 17, 22, 24; Citizenship: Aug. 31, Sept. 2.
