MILFORD >> The Milford Regional Chamber of Commerce will hold a free legal seminar, presented by attorney Rebecca Goldberg of Berchem, Moses & Devlin, P.C., April 8, 8:30-10:30 a.m., in the chamber board room, 5 Broad St. The seminar is \u201cConnecticut Mandates Sexual Harassment Training for Supervisors \u2014 Are You in Compliance?\u201d It will focus on the Connecticut law requirements surrounding sexual harassment training at the supervisory personnel level. While the law mandates that only businesses with 50 or more employees provide this training, all businesses are encouraged to participate. For businesses that have already participated in the mandatory training, this seminar also provides an excellent refresher workshop. Attendees will gain insight on: what elements should be included in the mandatory sexual harassment training to meet compliance; why meeting and exceeding required training should be embraced; and how to recognize and manage incidents concerning sexual harassment.
