The Milford Preservation Trust will hold its annual meeting on Tuesday, June 19, at the First Baptist Church, 28 North St. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. Jennyfer Holmes, church historian, will discuss the history of the Baptist congregation in Milford. Richard Platt, former city historian, will speak about the c. 1725 Samuel Durand house at 24 North Street which is owned by First Baptist Church. The Milford Preservation Trust will also be presenting its first Preservation Award to John Kranz for his restoration of the First United Church of Christ parsonage on West Main Street. The Reverend Adam Ekhart of First Church will discuss the former parsonage. The event is free and open to the public; light refreshments will be served.
