MILFORD >> Representatives of the 42nd annual Milford Oyster Festival Committee and the 2016 contribution recipients met at the Chamber of Commerce on Jan. 26 for a presentation of charitable funds. 2016 recipients include Scholarship in Memory of Linda Stock, 2016 Summer Concert Series - Milford Chamber of Commerce, Hotchkiss Bridge Flowers, Beth-El Center, School of the World, Bridges Young Parent Program, United Way of Milford Adopt-A-Family Program, Senior Heating Assistance Program city Department of Human Services, Scholarship of Social Learning Benhaven, Rape Crisis Center of Milford, Toys for Tots, Milford Prevention Council, Milford Food Bank, Milford Children\u2019s Trout Derby, Milford Animal Shelter, Literacy Volunteers of Southern CT, Kids Count, JLHS Post Prom Committee, Foran HS Post Prom Committee, CT Concerned Citizens for People with Disabilities, Camp Happiness, Bridges FOS\/FOF, St. Mary\u2019s Boy Scout Troop 721, Milford Friends of Library, Food2Kids, Keeping Milford Warm, Get In Touch Foundation, JLHS volleyball team, JLHS Parents Sports Booster, Boys & Girls Club of Milford, Devon Lions Club. \u201cThe Oyster Festival is more than just a one-day event for Milford.
