Parts of Connecticut are still on track to receive a foot or more of snow as a winter nor'easter pushed into the region Monday night, according to the latest forecasts from the National Weather Service. The snow will continue accumulating throughout the day and into the night, before tapering off by Wednesday morning.

The weather service has issued winter storm warnings for Litchfield, Tolland and Windham counties, and winter weather advisories for Hartford County, as well as northern portions of the state's four southern counties. All are in effect from Monday evening to Wednesday morning.
