YMCA winter programs

January is health and wellness classes for youth. The Y will offer Zumbatomic fitness class for ages 4-12. This class features choreographed kid-friendly routines set to popular music. Youth Indoor cycling class features an instructor led classes on stationary bicycles set to music. Yoga Kids is offered on Tuesdays from 5-5:45 for ages 6-13. This yoga class will increase attention span for kids in addition to improving stamina, flexibility, strength all while having fun.

The YMCA offers 14 Water Fitness classes both morning, evening and weekends. These classes are designed to offer both cardiovascular and resistance training using the water as a non-impact environment. Group Exercise classes include, TRX suspension training, Zumba, Indoor Cycling, Cardio Boxing, Pilates, Yoga, Step Aerobics, and Strength classes.

Swim lessons are being offered for all age groups and abilities, from children age 6 months to programs for seniors. Private or semi-private lessons are available and provide a one-on-one setting instructor to student ratio. Additional swim programs include Adapted Aquatics for individuals with disabilities or special need.
