Woodbridge terrier ready for new home
WOODBRIDGE >> A few years ago, a local, widowed gentleman adopted Odie as a puppy and the two became the best of friends.
The man had no one else, so they went everywhere and did everything together. He passed away unexpectedly a little while ago and Odie became depressed, as the man was the only companion he had ever known.
Odie is better now, so we would very much like to find him a new home. Odie is a young adult, neutered terrier mix, about 50 pounds, gray and white.
He is a sweetheart, an affectionate, attentive, friendly lad who knows the basic commands and would do well with an individual or family. He is accustomed to being the only dog in a household, but does get along with friendly dogs and maybe cats.
He is ready to bond with another human and continue his life. All he needs is a chance.
Odie and other dogs, and cats, are available for adoption at Woodbridge Animal Control, 135 Bradley Road, which can be reached at 203-389-5991.
Woodbridge has a full cattery and cannot accept any cats right now. Anyone looking for a cat, no kittens, can contact Woodbridge Animal Control.
