The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for late tonight and into tomorrow morning for areas from New Jersey to upper Fairfield County.
Milford is actually in New Haven County, just outside the advisory area, but close enough to be on the alert for some hazardous travel conditions Monday morning.
The advisory is in effect from 9 p.m. Sunday to 10 a.m. Monday.
The winter weather advisory warns of snow, sleet and freezing rain. Snow may accumulate up to one inch in those areas, along with less than a tenth of an inch of ice.
The National Weather Service is cautioning Monday commuters to expect some travel difficulties, including slippery roads and limited visibility.
