Rail and bus service is being brought to a stop in Connecticut and the region by a borderline-blizzard that could dump as much as two feet on the New York City area.

At 4 p.m., Metro North will shut down entirely.

CT Transit, including Coastal Link and Greater Bridgeport Transit bus service, was suspended at 12:50 p.m.
