The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch Wednesday morning through Thanksgiving (Thursday) morning.
“Significant snow accumulations are possible for interior portions of the lower Hudson Valley, Southern Connecticut and Northeast New Jersey,” the NWS posted.
Snow accumulation of 4 to 8 inches are predicted. A mix of rain and snow Wednesday morning will change to all snow by late Wednesday. The snow will continue into early Thursday morning before tapering off to snow showers.
“The snowfall will significantly impact holiday travel, making driving dangerous at times,” the NWS said.
